What is the retreat all about?
People are story tellers by design. We take facts and add filler around them to create stories in our minds. This is one way our brain makes sense of the world. This retreat will look at how we do this and how, with self-awareness, we can adjust our view of the world, and our place in it, by the filler we use in our stories.
Saturday. May 4th:
- Learning the ways we use filler to tell our stories, and how this impacts our outlook and well-being.
Saturday, May 11th
- Discovering how to adjust our filler around the facts in our lives to improve our life quality.
Both days will include optional gentle body works movements, and meditation opportunities.
What do I need to bring?
An open mind, a yoga mat if you have one, maybe a pillow or two, even a warm blanket & slippers should you want to get extra comfortable, plus, wear comfortable clothes. Lunch & snacks provided, however, it is ok to bring own food to accommodate your dietary needs.
